Portugal in 8 Days

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL & HALF DAY LISBON
Arrival to Lisbon’s Airport. We will start by visiting the Nation’s Park, the modern part of the city, including the Lisbon’s Oceanarium, one of the world's largest aquariums. Arrival to our hotel and check in formalities. Overnight.

DAY 2 – FULL DAY LISBON
We will pass by the main points of the city, from Eduardo VII Park to the Marquês de Pombal square. We continue to the downtown Rossio Square, Augusta street and Terreiro do Paço Square by the Tagus River. Walking from the Fado Museum climb up the Alfama hill and the St. Jorge’s Castle for a visit. Free time for lunch. In afternoon proceed to Belém quarter and visit to the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower (outside). Return to our hotel.

DAY 3 – FULL DAY OBIDOS / ALCOBAÇA / NAZARE / TOMAR / FÁTIMA
Departure for “Oeste Region”-  for a visit to the  Óbidos village. Proceed to Alcobaça to visit the monumental Cistercian Abbey of Santa Maria. Next stop will be the fishing village of Nazaré and we will have some free time for lunch. We continue to Tomar, visit to the city and the Convent of Christ. Departure transfer to Fátima - centre of Christian faith and world pilgrimage. Hotel check-in.

DAY 4 – FULL DAY FÁTIMA & PORTO
Departure in direction to Porto. Visit of Porto, with the magnificent gothic Church of S. Francisco that on the 17th and 18th century was covered with the most rare high-quality baroque gilt woodcarvings. Also visits to the Stock Exchange Palace and to a Port Wine cellar in Vila Nova Gaia, where we will enjoy a wine tasting. Check-in at our hotel in Porto.

DAY 6 – FULL DAY PORTO / COIMBRA / BATALHA / ESTORIL
Departure to Coimbra. This lovely city was capital of the Kingdom in the early days of the Monarchy (12h Century). Coimbra has one of the most important universities of Europe. Visit to the old Cathedral and to the University with its remarkable Royal Library. Then drive to Batalha to visit the Monastery, world patrimony by UNESCO. Continuation to Estoril. Arrival to our hotel and check-in formalities.

DAY 7 – FULL DAY SINTRA / CABO DA ROCA / CASCAIS / ESTORIL / LISBON
Departure to Sintra to discover one of the most romantic villages of Portugal. Taste a famous "queijada" (small round cake made with cottage cheese) and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Visit to the Royal Palace. Proceed to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. If time allows, on the way back to the hotel stop in the village of Cascais.

DAY 8 – DEPARTURE 
Check out formalities. At previous arranged time departure transfer from Hotel to Lisbon’s airport. Flight check-in. End of our services!
