DAY 1 – ARRIVAL & PORTO
Arrival to Porto airport. If your flight timetable will allow us, we start our Porto tour passing through Boavista Avenue until Castelo do Queijo, continuing along the Douro Foz reaching the Ribeira area, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Visit to the St. Francis Church and to the Stock Exchange Palace with is majestic Arabic room. Continuation of our sightseeing tour passing by Clérigos Church Tower and the Porto City Hall. Afterwards departure to Vila Nova de Gaia to visit one of the famous Port wine cellars, including a wine tasting. Procced to the chosen hotel and check-in procedures. Overnight.
DAY 2 – FULL DAY MINHO
Departure towards Guimarães to visit the historical center and the imposing Ducal Palace. Continue towards the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary, known as Bom Jesus de Braga. Overlooking the city of Braga, this cultural landscape evokes Christian Jerusalem, recreating a sacred mount crowned with a church. Afterwards visit to the Braga city center, including the Cathedral of Braga, which is considered the oldest in Portugal. Free time for lunch or supplement for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to Viana do Castelo and the sanctuary of Santa Luzia with is breath-taking view. Return to our hotel in Porto.
DAY 3 – FULL DAY DOURO
Departure in direction to the UNESCO World Heritage Douro Valley, where you will enjoy all the beauty that the Douro can offer and you can also admire the fine farms that produce Port Wine. Visit to the city of Peso da Régua, the main harbour in the valley for the typical Rabelo boats, while taking the wine barrels to Oporto. Free time for lunch or supplement for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit and wine tasting to a local vineyard in Douro. Check-in at the local hotel in Lamego and overnight.
DAY 4 – FULL DAY VISEU, AVEIRO & PORTO
Departure towards Viseu to visit the historical centre. Proceed to visit the city of Aveiro and to enjoy a ride on the typical Moliceiro boats. Free time for lunch or supplement for lunch at a local restaurant. Departure to Porto and free time there. Hotel check-in procedures in Porto.
DAY 5 – DEPARTURE
Hotel check-out and private air-conditioned bus transfer to Porto airport. Flight check-in.
