Cultural Roundtrip

DAY 1  – ARRIVAL TO LISBON
Arrival to Lisbon airport. If your flight timetable allows us, we will start with transfer to Belém quarter, to visit the Jerónimos Monastery and the exterior of Belem Tower. Continuation to the city downtown, passing by Chiado, Largo do Camões, Bairro Alto and Avenida da Liberdade. Finally, check-in at our hotel and overnight.

DAY 2 -  FULL DAY LISBON
We will start our walking tour through the Alfama streets and we will visit the Old Cathedral. We can also visit Saint George Castle. After free time for lunch, in the afternoon, we will proceed to visit the Tiles Museum and the Gulbenkian Museum. Return to our hotel.

DAY 3 – FULL DAY ESTORIL / CASCAIS/ SINTRA/ ÓBIDOS/ TOMAR

Departure to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Driving by the coastal area of Guincho, arrival to Cascais a former fishing village. Proceed to Sintra, a charming small town that due to its microclimate and natural beauty was chosen by the Portuguese Royalty as vacation spot for many centuries. Due to its immense historical background and buildings UNESCO declared Sintra World Heritage. Visit to the 14th C. Royal Palace and then some free time to explore the historical centre. After free time for lunch, departure to Obidos, a whitewashed medieval town surrounded by its castle walls. Continuation to Tomar, sightseeing of the city and visit to the Christ Covent.  Hotel check-in formalities.

DAY 4 – FULL DAY BATALHA/ ALCOBAÇA/ NAZARÉ/ FÁTIMA/ TOMAR
Departure to Batalha, to visit its’ 15th century Monastery declared world heritage by UNESCO and a masterpiece of the initial Manueline art. Proceed to Alcobaça to visit the imponent Abbey of Santa Maria de Albobaça, built by the monks of the order of Clister on the 12th Century. Proceed to Nazaré, a picturesque fisherman’s’ town where after visiting Sitio, a marvellous viewpoint over the Atlantic Ocean, you can enjoy some free time at the beach area. Continue to Fátima, a world known centre of Christian faith, where it is said that Our Lady appeared in 1917 to the 3 little shepherd children. Return to Tomar.

DAY 5 – FULL DAY CONIMBRIGA/ COIMBRA/ PORTO
Early in the morning, departure to Condeixa a Nova where the Group will visit Coninbriga Ruins. Departure towards to Coimbra where our guests will visit the Old Cathedral and Coimbra's University. After lunch, departure transfer to Porto. Sightseeing of the city with visit to the Stock Exchange Palace. Hotel check-in formalities.

DAY 6 – FULL DAY PORTO/ GUIMARÃES/ BRAGA
Departure for a visit of the city of Porto, visiting the Sao Bento Train Station well known by its Tiles, the Old Cathedral, the Saint Francis Church. Proceed to Guimarães, sightseeing of city, walking tour to Santa Maria Street and visit the Ducal Palace. Departure towards Braga, visit the centre and its cathedral. Return to our hotel in Porto.

DAY 7 -  FULL DAY BRAGA/ VILA REAL/ COVILHÃ
Departure to Vila Real, where our guests will visit the  Casa de Mateus. Departure transfer to Pinhão and then along the Douro Valley we will reach Regua. During this lovely journey enjoy all the beauty that the Douro can offers and admiring the fine farms that produce the famous Port wine. Departure towards to Covilhã passing through Seia and Torre da Serra da Estrela, the highest tower in Portugal. Check Inn at our hotel.

DAY 8 – FULL DAY VILA VIÇOSA 
Departure transfer to Vila Viçosa, sightseeing of the city including Vila Viçosa Palace.
In the afternoon, departure to Évora where we will visit the Old Cathedral and Saint Francis Church and its Bones Chapel.  Check-in at hotel in Évora.

DAY 9 – DEPARTURE TRANSFER
Sightseeing around Évora and time for leisure. At previous arranged time Departure transfer to Lisbon Airport. Flight check-in. End of our services.
